for my F250.

It's 69oiler's old standard cab.
The rust is just tearing me up.

Sat pretty much all winter with bad brake lines, finally got them all replaced
and have a fellow who loves these trucks keeping an eye out for a set of
tanks for me. But I am so sick of dealing with rotting rusty stuff I'm not sure
I want to go through the heck of cutting and ripping all that nasty rusty
tank garbage out from under there, just to replace it with cut out, nasty
rusty newer garbage. But would like to just replace it all with clean new
stuff.

Anyone know an aftermarket soup-to-nuts replace tank(s) set up for these
trucks? 86, standard cab, full bed.

thanks in advance.

rockauto.com 75 bucks front, 80 bucks and change rear. Brand new.

Hey Galute; Thanks much for the quick reply.

Got any idea which tanks are which? My tanks are both done.
My front one is gone altogether, and my rear is leaking
like it didn't matter, and the mounts are all rusted to death.
Senders are prolly all shot too.

Just crawl under the truck with a tape measure. Measure the length of the front tank. If it's about 42 inches long it's a 16 gallon tank. If it's about 59 inches long it's a 19 gallon tank. Rear tank is a 19 gallon, only option. Only other difference is different manufacturers. I got the Spectre tanks. They seem to be of decent quality and best price. They have all the other stuff you made need , straps, sending units, fuel lines.

I've got 2 pretty good ones i took off the 88 parts truck. I moved them today, was thinking about power washing them and using as spares! But if you need them I'm headed up that way next month.... Annual Memorial Day at IdleWild! Woooo Hoooooo!:hail;Really
