Help wiring manual control GP switch

Ok guys... Where do I find the glow plug switch thats in the coolant side of my 89 7.3? Is that the sender behind the thermostat housing and if it is does it also double as the cold advance for the pump.

From the front of the engine looking towards the taingate, the switch will be in the drivers side head to th eright of the IP. In the 1993- up engine, it' s behind and below the vaccuum pump. In the 1992 and under engines it woul be to the left of the A/C compressor and to the right of the IP.
