I am looking at buying a CUCV.Feller on the other board I frequent has a bunch of them.He has a nice one for $2500 with 50K original miles.Small hole in teh rockers.Body is dead straight.No other rust.100% there and running and driving.Someone stop me before I get ANOTHER truck instead of fixing one of my other many.....granted....20MPG plus is so tempting in a full size SUV.......and it is IDI.....just of a bow tie variety.....ARG.

well,not so much the bow tie but the green iron,20MPG,Diesel,SIMPLE,and cheap.Mostly the green iron part but it is an IDI.....The dana 60 and detroit locker stock is a big plus too.....

Yep more metal sitting around not doing anything. You would think at one point he could at least take parts from all to make one hit the road.

He's a closet bowtie boy...just can't get motivated on the "other" projects, cause he just knows they won't be the same!

Buy it, put that motor in the E, put the E's motor in the CUCV, and sell the E. Then you get green iron with the diesel motor that SHOULD have been in it from the get go.
