heat shield???

Getting ready to install my turbo on the 91 7.3l. I noticed a nice article in Diesel power magazine about heat covering for the turbo. I know underhood temps can get up there, and add the heat generated by the turbo, thinking I should get some heat shielding wrap for the turbo, and down pipe. Any thoughts???

Hmmm... that looks pretty neat. I was going to wrap my downpipe in regular 'ol header wrap. That what that product looks like too. But I do like the insulator around the turbo.

being the frugal person I am... I wont get a ready made kit ( price willing) but I do have some header wrap already that I will be wrapping the downpipe...
