Hairbrained idea for cheap timing meter/onboard display

Still haven't given up on it. Tried a LM386 to a full bridge rectifier and just got noise from the stock sensor.

The raw waveform looks like a fourier, or compound sine wave. That's the real pain in the tuckus.

Will try the transistor schmitt type next. I don't have any logic ICs with that built in.
