I have put gt series turbos on all of my turbo vehicles and they have made such a huge change in my rides. I'm in the middle of an idi swap in a 78 ford 4x4 and I would really like to put a gt series turbo in it. Not for huge power gains but for quicker spools. Does anyone have a copy of the compressor map for the stock turbo? I've read it was designed more for high altitudes to keep power than to actually be a performance adder. I was thinking a small gt3 turbo would work pretty well but I was curious if any of you guys have done anything like this. I also figured I could make some slightly better up pipes and a much better down pipe.
