Gooseneck safety chains?

Does anyone know if safety chains are required ( for all the good they'd do on something that big ) on a gooseneck rig in Arkansas or Missouri ?

Yes, safety chains are required on a goose neck trailer in Arkansas.

I am pretty sure that they are required in Missouri also. Even if they were not, I would run them as an anti-lawyer measure.

Well, I got the chain. Man, safety chains for something that big are downright heavy. at least I have everything to be legal now.
