Tip I will pass along ... :D

This company @ http://www.jatrodiesel.com/biodiesel-sales is selling on road #2 diesel
currently at $3.52 a gallon and off road diesel/fuel oil at $2.95 a gallon.

They are located in Miamisburg, Ohio.

I ran across them & filled my pickup tank on Friday .... ;Sweet

I know this is biodiesel but if your heating oil tank stays above freezing, that is 50 cents or more a gallon savings .....

I don't think they deliver - but they have 250 gallon on up transfer tanks they rent or let you use to transport ....

Same tank fills both - not dyed

yeh can you get in trouble for running heating oil? I have never checked?

I paid the tax for on road use ...

It comes from the same tank - no dye added

Theoretically you could fill & run on road for $2.95 a gallon
but I would not recommend it .....

I am lucky - my F350 set up has the front factory tank fed
from a 90 gallon plus tank under the sleeper cap in my bed.

I start & stop on my rear tank which is kept full of regular
Winter diesel.

I keep a spare fuel filter onboard - 100% biodiesel will
clean your clock so to speak .....

This is the highest quality biodiese made locally,
check their website out ...

Their biggest customer is Pilot/Flying J

The Fed dippers are usually at farm cattle auction's where they dip all the farmers trucks to see if there using off road, then again they are at Rest stops, so if you see a Fed vehicle, just motor on thru and catch the next stop.:D

He started this thread suggesting you could use this fuel legally for your oil furnace at home. Let's not start another legal/illegal off road fuel thread again.

That's not bad.... That would be worth investing in a tank... I am not too far from them...

My only problem is, I don't think I can use it..... my 6.0 wont run right on anything above b20 I believe.........

here in California they can check your truck's fuel, as pickups are registered as commercial vehicles. My Benz is a different story, as a passenger car they have to play by different rules. The fine is not worth the savings.
