GlowPlug Nightmare pics

well I just put in some 7.3 Wellmans and changed the connectors to the bullet style and did the bypass. OMG It actually starts now AMAZING. And I had the heads off to replace the head gaskests and the little pieces to the glowplugs were not found and no damage to the pistons , valves or prechamber. Thank God.

What kind of glow plugs were these?

They say AC 8G

And the failure mode was the controller sticking in the on position most likely? I'm confused, do you now have a 7.3 style controller or manual glow plugs?

With the Wellman GP's, I would suggest you check them out after about 30-40 starts.

You don't have to pull them for checking. Just check each one with a VOM, resistance should be 3-5 ohms.
