does it seem right that the glo plugs would not work with no coolant in the engine?
uncles F350 that he just rebuilt the engine in had a softplug behind the oilcooler come out(that was installed by the machine shop) and it dumped all the coolant while driving down the road:mad:.
anyway we got it into my mothers driveway, and today towed it home.when we got it ready to go in shop we tryed to start it and drive it 30 feet into his shop, turned key on and no wait to start light:confused:,does that sound right?

coolant has no effect on the glow plugs in the 7.3 system. I wonder if you have two or more bad plugs or a loose/missing ground wire?
