I got a glow shift pillar mount Quad gauge pod and it is tight getting gauges to fit in it. Has anyone used another brand thats any better? Its my first time installing a pillar mount pod. Any tips? Has anyone used 2 of the auto meter Dual pillar mounts?

Yeah, use a heat gun or hair dryer on the holes before sledding the gauge in. Makes a nice tight fit.

I should have been more specific, tight as in the brackets hold the gauge cocked so as they are not seated squarley around bezel on the gauge. I think the heat gun might work I'll try that too.

Okay I figured it out. I was trying to use gauge brakes on the back of the gauges. I saw a video from glow shift and they just pushed the gauges into the pod and used no brakes on the back of the gauges. They fit this way you just have to cut the length on some of the studs on the back of the gauges.
