The part number I have for the fuel heater o-ring is E8TZ-9K342-A. When I ran a search for this part number on a Ford parts site, it came back as "No part number found". Anybody know if this part number has been supeceded by a new number? Are the o-rings still available from Ford, or is there an equivilent o-ring available from a place like Mcmaster-Carr?

just got done doing this. what a pita it was. first, my filter head, 1994, only uses one o-ring, NOT two. second, it uses the smaller of the two o-rings but the small one is still WAY TO BIG. turns out i had one identical to the o-ring needed in my 0-ring stash. hopefully it doesn't leak.

I just went to napa and matched sizes and that worked for me. I had the two piece one though. Also that persons shop in that video really needs to clean it. What a mess.

A messy shop is the sign of a sane person... Never have any space on the work bench with nothing sitting on it...:angel:
