Fuel draining to the tank

I have a 91 350 that I recently purchased I started having a hard time starting it for the first time in the mornings my driveway is a slight incline so I would thought I would test it and park the truck backwards in the driveway with the nose down and it starts perfectly fine so my thought is is that during a night being on an incline the fuel is draining back into the tank can I put a check valve and the rubber line that goes to the fuel pump?
