first time truck pulling

so im gonna be pulling my truck for the first time tomorrow just wanna have a lil fun and see what it feel's like, anybody got any tip's on which gear to put it in? i was gonna do second gear 4 hi but i dont know if that's the correct choice.thanks

I think you want to stay in second.not sure about hi or low.stay in the throttle, don't let off/get back on it.if it starts hopping, stop, you dont want to break your truck

okay im gonna try second gear, how much should i rev to and should i jus drop the clutch, it's a new clutch but i dont wanna burn it up. i've hear people around clamping there leaf spring's together i might try that before i go.
