First Out of town trip with my IDI. So far so well not so good.

Fleet charge is good coolant.

Any recommendations were to get a good radiator? Should any RockAuto/ stock replacement work, or is there a certain brand/retailer that's better than another?

Also I've been using the Fleet Charge pink stuff. Should that be good in any radiator?

My '89 250 likes to overheat towing in Colorado, and a new radiator could be the ticket to fixing the problem.

If you want a SERIOUS duty radiator, they you simply can't beat a Rodney Red all aluminum rad, and no they are nothing like the ones you can get at rad shops, these suckers are WAY overbuilt, with heavy plate welded tanks and insanely large cores. I made it back across teh country with a dead fan clutch with just my 16' electric pusher fan grossing over 18k and right now, I'm talking with the guy there about designing an all electric fan setup to go with these rads

For what it is worth I am very happy with the radiator I installed. It is what ever carquest sells.
