I've been driving it for a few weeks with no shift knob, so today I dug through a box of billiard balls, drilled one out and stuck it on.

Poor picture, but you get the idea...

Pretty easy to drill, just hope I like it- cause it aint never coming off!:eek:

One question, where is your radio?

Thats the next project!! The PO put those gauges there- my plan is to move them up onto the dash and I already have a stereo ready to take its place.

Its really a bad place for gauges anyway- you have to look down too far to check the pyro, which makes for a dangerous situation when your pulling a big trailer on a windy two lane highway.

I like the 8 ball.

Hey if it does by chance pop off, I have some A7 epoxy. They tell me it has a 4000 lb pull out, with a safety factor of 4 to 1.

I will be watching on the gauges, mine are temporary right now in a 3 pack in front of the ashtray.
