Hi All,
First post on here - I joined specifically to seek your collective knowledge about my Facet Duralift install on my Land Rover 200tdi. Not much info exists on these in UK circles, but I have found a fair amount on here.
Sick of mechanical lift pumps failing and inspired by the threads on here about replacing a mechanical lift pump with the facet duralift, I went ahead and installed on on my Land Rover 110.
The details on the install are here

It seems to be working well, but the reason for my post on here is to ask whether the small amount of air in the fuel bowl is normal? Depending on where I read, some say their bowl is full and some pics online seem to show a small amount of air at the top of the bowl. Pics of mine are below - the air is probably 1/4"-3/8" of the top of the filter bowl. The top of the fuel level sits at the bottom of the tapered section of the filler bowl. Should this air be there at all? The level doesn't change - perhaps marginally if you open the throttle up. I don't have any starting issues, but I do have a slight ticking noise from the Bosch VE injection pump if i put light pressure on the accelerator whilst coasting in gear - some have suggested this may be air in the fuel system, hence my concern about the fuel level in the duralift bowl.
Some pics to describe exactly what i mean.
