F150 vs 7.3IDI

Well first off thanks for all the help/advice to the annoying new guy (I tried to do research beforehand but was missing parts..). Figuring my finanacing goes through (wasnt planning on getting a truck untill fall/winter as I cant afford the $6k+ trucks seem to go for around here) and this truck turns out to be in decent shape (one of those CL ads thats one line and a couple pics...) think itd be worth getting it or should I wait and hope to find a better suited truck (ZF5, 4x4, turbo?)? Any tips on making the E40D(A) last longer untill I can get a ZF5 transplanted (or just stick with the E40D)? Anyone know if a turbo for an E40D would fit on a ZF5 or should I do the tranny first?

Turbo will fit either, make sure the don pipe doesnt interfere with the swap and you will be fine. I got 340K out of my previous e4od, so if yyou take care of them, they can last and will be reliable.
