well no pics today but i will tomorrow its 4 inch from the stock cat to in front of the rear wheel i got a muffler from warpspeedperformance.com and put the louvers facing toward the back and welded it all up it sounds real good and you can really hear that turbo screamin now and it looks real nice with a angle cut end on the piece of 4" and i polished it all up and best of all it cost me less then $175 to do it the downpipe will be coming when i get the dough and the time

ok it sounds good but after driving it around its not too much louder then stock at all the louvers in the muffler are reversed so they are open to the back not the front eliminating the restriction there but its just not loud enough for my likings with the exception of wasting my $60 on the muffler how can i get it louder will gutting the cat do anything sound wise?? how bout the down pipe will that change the sound?? i mean for being in front of the wheel its just not loud enough for a 4" system its way too quiet so tell me what can i do to louden this beast up a little bit

does anyone have a more sane approach to the situation
You still running the stock DP? If so, yes,,,going to a real DP will help BUNCHES, try that with your muffler first, then try gutting the cat, then if you still dont have the desired results, lose the muffler altogether.

I cut mine off, I've heard of others beating it off with a mallet.
