Looking to possibly transport a 1995 crew cab long bed 2wd that has no engine or trans. Any good estimates on weight? Nothing else fancy on it.

Thanks!

Registration on all of my F-250 and F-350 4x4 have said 5000. My F-250 Supercab with D60 swap, 460, and lift on 35" tires tips the scale just shy of 6000. Haven't had my IDI CCLB 4x4 on a scale yet. 5000 sounds light to a CCLB though even 2wd, but whenever the tax man asks at tolls I say 5k as that's what the reg says if they check.

I'd plan around 5k. My typical light weight is about 6-6.5k, but that's with tools and whatnot, IIRC the actual empty truck weight is around 5.5k. Add some for the CC, and then take off ~1500 for drivetrain, but remember that any random engine parts left in the bed and whatnot count against that. I'd bet the actual weight is around 4.5k, but best to add a bit and be safe.
