electrical giving me a headache..

Hey guys, I am seriously lost. Working on my 85 F250, trying to figure out why the windows wont roll up and down with the switch, the doors wont lock via the switch, the left side stereo speaker wont work, and the right only works sometimes (if you hit a bump, or pound on the dash it turns it on and off) I've pulled the stereo to look for loose connections, I've pulled door panels, checked fuses, on and on and on.... Any ideas?

While it sounds like you may have other problems, I have had two of these trucks, an 86 and a 90 that both had issues with the windows not working. They both had the same problem, a short in the harness. It was in the passenger door on both of them as well.

orrrr,where the wire harness goes thru the kick panel,,for the drivers door, you have more than one wire broke because of the constant flexing.....

Wire was worn down, and had become separated. Replaced, windows work good. Thanks guys!!
