international makes one that doesnt fail like the fords does

It would be nice for someone to make an egr eliminator kit because you really don't need it.

you can turn it off via a chip, close but no cigar really
i dont think it would be hard to eliminate the piping at all either

All it takes is a block plate in the passenger side up pipe. You will also need a custom tune that turns off the EGR in the strategy or it will throw a code.

Another alternative is to buy a second EGR. Plug the connector into the new EGR then ziptie it out of the way. The EMC will "see: a working EGR but none of the crap is getting into the intake. Keith

Well see what happens. If I go through another egr I will definatly do that. This truck is great and I love it. This is the only problem I've had.

the up pipe could be modified easyily to delete the whole EGR cooler/ EGR valve, i want to try it on someones truck sometime, i think it would be a neat project
