If I might interject, seems the latest craze is the SCT Xcal2 programmer....
haven't rec'd mine I ordered yet, but will let you know when it comes in how I like it....

i sell both and if you are going to compare. you must compare apples to apples.

edge make great power but your cann't use all the power all the time

bank makes the power usable more of the time with all the air density increases. (intercooler)

as for price banks isn't that much more expensive for what you are getting plus the price you quoted isn't the price we sell it at the list price.

I would go with the SCT it does a better job with the auto trans.

And makes a smooth power.

the new edge platinum does a very nice job with trans as well.

Wait for the Platinum to come out, a few weeks or so, we are already taking orders for them and they are mounting up faster than I thought they would. The Platinum will out trans control and out power any of the modules out there from what I can see so far with mine.

i drove a F350 DRW yesterday with an edge, everything else stock, i didnt like how hot the EGT got at boost, it would sit around 1100 to 1200, witch chip is safer? i heard the banks will automatically cut boost when EGT's spike around 1200 is that true to?

I have installed most all manufactuers products and in most all cases I have found the Banks products to be far superior to any of the competition.
