Diesel fuel contaminated with gas: usable or not?

Someone at my friends work put 5 gallons on unleaded gas in the tank of one of their trucks, mixed with 30 gallons of diesel. They pumped it out and don't know what to do with it. I was wondering if it would be safe to run in my IDI if I blend in some WMO, or maybe like a quart of fresh gear oil per 5 gallons to thicken it back up plus some lucas injector lube?

yea i would think some lucas and maybe a quart of atf should clear that up.

It's fine to run if you further dilute it with diesel. Volkswagen among other manufacturers recommends adding up to 5% gas to diesel as an anti gel in the winter.
If you are hell bent on adding WVO/WMO I would look on biodiesel infopop for ratios that people are blending to. I'm personally not a big fan of blending as oppossed to heating, but whatever
At any rate do not let them dispose of the fuel!
If it was me I would add 1/2 that mix to 1/2 tank of #2 and motor on down the road.

I have intentionally burned gasoline out of junk cars in my truck. I found the truck got unhappy with more than one gallon of gas in around 35 gallons of diesel fuel.
