I played with my old 6.9 pump and got it to spin around 4100-4200. Yup, I spun 3 main bearings with 230k on it. Sure sounded mean while doing it.

if you don't mind me asking how did you turn it up reason I am asking is I have a 90 crew cab with automatic in it and it just feels like it could use a few more RPM's in it . Feels like it is governed way back . I just replaced the head on it had a burnt valve . Took it for my first drive sense I got this truck . Seemed like it was being help back by RPM and I am going to pull a trailer with it . Any help would be great !!!!!!!!!!!!
