Dash Mounts

My dash on the passenger side is loose, I do know one of the mounts on the bottom next to the A pillar is broken (Stupid Plastic) Where else do they mount up? I really couldn't see much just by looking under the dash except for the broken mount.

common problem, ford has a repair kit for it, PIA to install, I have epoxied a few back together.
the mount attaches at the bottom , behind the kickpanel, close to the door jamb

^ INSTRUMENT PANEL - LOOSE RIGHT HAND ATTACHMENT TO COWL SIDE

^ NOISE - "RATTLE" COMING FROM RIGHT SIDE OF INSTRUMENT PANEL

LIGHT TRUCK:
1992-94 BRONCO, F SUPER DUTY, F-150-350 SERIES

ISSUE:
A "rattling" noise may come from the right hand side of the instrument panel. This occurs when the cowl attachment cracks causing the instrument panel to become loose.

ACTION:
Install a metal bracket to the right side of the instrument panel to secure instrument panel to cowl. Refer to Instruction Sheet # 6551.

Service Kit (F4TZ-1504366-A) consists of:

^ One (1) bracket

^ Three (3) rivets

^ One (1) Instruction Sheet # 6551

I had the same problem, if I understand you correctly. I fabbed a piece, actually found a bookcase "L" bracket, to fix the problem. I had a 'spare' sitting in the miscellaneous parts bin in the garage. You can almost begin to see it in the link to the photo below.
