ok i fragged my front D50 bad. I tried to do a quick serch about D60 swaps but didn't find a ton on it so I have a few questions. What is the easiest way to just swap a 60 in? if i get the D60 and the springs and driveshaft from a F-350 will it just all bolt in? I'm pretty much getting tired of my truck always breaking on me its like I fix one things wrong on it and 2 more just pop up. I'm losing hope on my truck

nothing keeps breaking on it, i broke the driverside alxe shaft and something inside the pumpkin since the frong driveshaft fell out of the front pumpkin

maybe a stock 50 isn't good enough for you then. I mean a 50 is a little smaller than a 60, but if you messed up a 50 THAT bad, a stock 60 isn't much stronger...it's stronger but not by a lot!;Really

I'm an avid 4 wheeler guy and I don't understand why there is a D60 under these trucks - what makes it so it needs the D60? The weight of the diesel? Once in awhile I'm eyeing up that D60 for another project and I'm wondering if a trussed D44 or D50 would last under it...

As long as you have the F350 springs and driveshaft it'll bolt up fine. Youll need the track bar and the bracket that mounts it to frame too.

The F350 driveshaft will not work unless you change out the front t-case yolk for a f350 one. 9 out of 10 times a F250 front shaft will work fine w a D60

yea my truck just turned 66,000 miles but its beena work truck all its life with a plow since new and was used by a tree service. I dunno if i can't find a good D60 and the parts to do the swap. I like the ride of the D50 but I dunno Goofy might be right I need something heavier.
