Is there any difference in strength between a 93 and 97?
A friend is doing a diesel conversion and trying to find if the rumor of Ford strengthing the later model supports is true.

I'd almost think the later supports are weaker. Being that fuel economy and lighter materials is always the quest. The ol' "They don't make em' like they used to" kind of thing.
