Howdy,
I need some diagnostic help please.
I replaced my waterpump about 4 years ago.Lately,I've seen coolant dripping from under the waterpump.
Today I topped off the radiater with water and water was flowing
pretty fast from below the WP. I gave the fan a tug, bearings seem tight. Is there anything it could be before I replace the WP? I can't see exactly where its coming from due to the belts and brackets. Its a 86 6.9.
Thanks,
Doug

If it's not the pump, it prob the gasket. There's not to many places for water to come from down there.

Yeah, thats what I was thinking. Just wanted to make sure there wasn't some hidden freeze plug under there.
It could very well be the gasket as the bearing feels tight.
Thanks for the replies. Always good to get some other opinions before surgery!LOL
Oilburners always delivers!
