I found a coolant leak after 10 min. of driving, definitely not hot, a small puddle, about a cup or 2, then no more....

Never done this before, I rebuilt the oilcooler recently.

If I had a problem with the cooler, it would be a big problem, yes?

Where the hell did that coolant come from?

Some good news, the leak in the ps pump seems to have fixed itself. :dunno

Beats me, I'll look in the sunlight tomorrow, sober, cookoo

Where did you find the puddle, on the ground under the truck? Without moving the truck, what engine part is directly above the puddle? It could certainly be the oil cooler, I'm thinking the gaskets to the block sound like a possible suspect?

The puddle was under the center of the motor. could have come from the crossmember.

But I would think if the gasket let go, it would empty the system. post haste!

I got this when I replaced my w/p. The puddle was under the rad. It was leftover a/f that was in the valley below the rad.

I hope that this is all it is & not more problematic

Check the top end of the engine, I just changed my valley pan/ intake manifold gasket due to a coolant leak, if your valley pan drain is clean and not plugged up like mine was, it could be draining down the valley of the engine and out the backside...

Check my webshots for pictures of the problem

Check the clamps on the hoses. Usually a loose clamp will cause a slight leak.. The top hose is my leaker sometimes... It takes several tightenings to stop the leak..
