I have used to this day the precharged coolant filter on My truck, now I don't need the precharged filters anymore but I'd like to keep the coolant filter. What was the part # for the non dca charged coolant filters? I think the charged ones are wf2071.

Thank You.

EZ, I'm pretty sure the Fleetgard Part Number is WF2070.;Sweet The WF2071 is a 4 DCA unit filter IIRC. They go up from there: WF2072 is 6 units, a WF2073 is 8 units (that's what I'm using on mine) and so on.

Excellent thank You. I don't want to loose the coolant filtering on My truck but I don't think the CTD needs any additives on the coolant so this is great so I can keep the filter. Another good thing is that I can continue to use the fleetrite low silicate coolant from fleetguard I always used with the IDI.

ALL diesel engines need SCA , no exceptions,to prevent cavitation and head gasket erosion, unless you are running something like evans waterless coolant that doesn't need it ( no water, no surface boiling ,, no cavitation )
