How does it look? Sorry about the quality of pics. i can try to get some better quallity. I was just checking my glow plugs today and thought i would take some picks of the wheel and ask. I had one bad glow plug btw.

Little bit of erosion, no FOD, and no signs of contact with the housing...

That's what it looked like to me. the housing has some very very light scrathes in it. there are no nicks on the wheel. play seems normal to me. no in/out. some side to side but it does not touch the housing unless you really push on it.

I would not get worried unless the impeller is contacting the side of the housing and making marks. Otherwise your turbo looks well broke in :rotflmao

Even a freshly rebuilt unit will rub the sides if you push it. I say run it some more.

ya i was thinking of cracking the injectors one by one to see if i get any change. i am going to get new return lines to cuz i noticed that a couple are wet on the outside. could a very slight air leak cause a tick?

You would be amazed at what industrial service turbochargers look like. I've seen some pretty messed up ones running thousands of hours after having something ran through it. They will run for a long time even damaged. Yours isn't damaged enough to worry about.

my return caps are not leaking it is just the hoses. can i just get the hoses and swap them out? if so what hose do i get? size, type, etc?

Its metric hose 7mm. I have a roll on hand. or a complete return kit for 38.00
