Synthetic Oil - I use 0-40, but it gets to -40 C here. Also I have a circulating block heater, not just the stock one. I also have a oil pan heater, made by Wolverine. http://www.wolverineheater.com/products.shtml With in 2 min the thing will almost burn my hand. Also installed a idle adjust switch so I can set the idle speed to warm up faster and it kicks out when the brakes are tapped, just like cruise control. And of course the old reliable carboard box to cover the Rad.

keep er plugged in

always use a good additive to adjust yer pourpoint

buy a good winterfront to block the incoming air

synthetics all the way around

exhaust brake for warmup...takes EGT's from 300 to 600

Remove the fan, 1-7/16 reverse thread, will need fan for towing or mountain passes though

cycle grid heater 2x's before turning over
