I have lost the clutch on my 2000 Ranger with a three liter. I checked the reservoir and it was dry so I added fluid. That did nothing; I still have to drive totally without the clutch. That made for a long trip home. I am thinking there is air in the line but I have never had a Ranger this new. So, before I start throwing parts at it or looking for something that might not be there, is there a common quirt I should look at or for on this truck? I would guess the clutch should be replaced anyway because of the high mileage. Even though the master cylinder appeared to be empty, I can find no signs of a leak. What would some of you do right now to diagnose the problem if it was your truck?
