Odd as it seems, might want to dry the D-Max section. They've had AAM's since '01.

If I was going to buy one to install, I'd be looking for one made by Tractech .

The Truetrac is an all geared limited slip, smooth, tuff, and no clutches. Used in many medium duty applications. Or you could go straight to the Detroit Locker. A little harsher action, but positive locking, and tuff as well.

If I didn't have a L/S from the factory, I'd have one of these.

I don't know what's available, and my 'puter locked up when I went to the heavy duty application list.

Talked to a friend today. Local vendor. He could find no aftermarket yet for the AAM. Rumor has it that AAM themselves are prepared to offer a unit similar to the Truetrac, and that it will be available mid February. About $500+.

Unconfirmed, but the best I can do.

Got e-mail back from Tractech today. They are NOT in product development for the AAM application. Maybe in the future. That's it.

Sorry, folks.
