brakes what brakes?

Twice now I've been going down the road and went to stop and the pedal went to the floor no broken lines and on the master cylinder but it full, after a little wait the brakes work again?:

RABS Valve is the rear anti-like brake valve and it is along the driverside frame rail. i am not sure if your truck will have that though or if it is in the same spot as i described.

83 would have a proportioning valve, not the RABS.

exactly my thoughts too. If you have no leaking lines, and your resivoir is full of fluid, then your master cylinder is bypassing inside.

Think of it as REALLY bad piston rings not holding the cylinder's compression in an engine.

Your options are to buy a new/remanned one, rebuild yours or find a good used one.

The bigger bore masters came on an F350.....so if you have an F250....if you ask for an F350 (1 5/16" bore?) master you will have gained a little more braking power and volume.
