first and foremost....
GOODMORNING OILBURNERS!

i have a guy coming up to purchase both of my old tanks out of my 87.
he also needs the front filler neck.
my question is, is the front filler neck the short one or the long one?
if i had my bed done, id already have the correct one installed.
but i do not. i dont wanna give him the wrong part leaving me up shat creek.

appreciate it!!!

I think the front is the short one and the rear is the longer one.
But don't hold me too that.

Don't know if there was a difference from 86 to 87 ?

They do look pretty much the same on my '86. Maybe newer trucks have slightly different lengths, I know they changed the vent and cap later on but the tanks and bed/filler are the same so tubes should more or less interchange. Judge for yourself...
