It is a term that was thought up by an old TDR member a few years ago. If your a member you can do a search to find out exactly when. I assume you know that it means Better Off Modified Baby

Think the term goes way back further than that, it's also biker lingo for chopping/modifying a Harley.
I can remember using it in the '60's.
