Last year I had to pull the A/C pump of my 91 to install the Fisher plow pump...Not a big job, just a PITA come spring time when I had to get my a/c going again. I have the pulley that goes on with the harmonic balancer bolt but I'm not sure what it came off of. Does anyone here have a belt driven plow pump on their IDI and still have there A/C intact? Winter isn't that far away, time to start gearing up for the white gold.:sly:D....What size bolt holds the HB on the crank?
I have a 12V power pack I could gear up but I like the reliability of the belt driven pumps.

I don't have AC installed on my truck but the way my pump was installed it would still allow ac. The plow pump belt is driven off a dual pulley on the power steering pump. Also my brackets are different than the ones in your pictures. My crank pulley still has an open spot for the ac.

also wanted to add that my control valves are behind the washer tank and the controls in the truck are to the left of the steering wheel.

A lot of older Chryslers (318, 360) had a dual groove ps pully that will work. Also, bigger (F600) fords with the 429 gas motor had 2 groove ps pullys.

The pulley came with my truck. You might want to try some Fisher plow dealers or call fisher directly. They may know the source or application they originally used.
Did a search for dual power steering pump pulley and came up with this

maybe they can hook you up

My PTO is not mean't to drive with, it won't last that way....I'll look at it this weekend and see where I can find to stick the pump for good.

hmmm you know if you wanted to get real creative you could plumb the power stering return to feed the plow hydraulics. if you were steering at the same time as operating the plow the plows performance would be cut down. But it should work, (very similer to a hydroboost setup)
