Mine was salvaged from under a pile of cow **** and scrap farm steel with the front hub hanging on by the brake line. It's still not pretty, but she runs and well!

Very nice, glad so see an old truck come back to life.
On a side not, You need to get rid of that exhaust and it breathe :thumbsup:

I'll echo what has already been said. Great job. ;Sweet At least it wasn't exposed to 9 winters of road salt just sitting there. There is something to be said for that. I bet the insides didn't smell too good. It takes a lot of determination to clean something up like that. The 80-86 trucks have something going on you should be aware of. The plastic wheel well wraps up under the cab for about 8 inches along the bottom edges of the front fenders. CUT THAT OFF! Mud and junk will lay up on there and rust your fenders out from behind. I discovered this too late. Add some regular mud flaps instead. Oh, and get rid of that Fram oil filter. Those things are junk.
