Banks Remote Dipstick

I am finally getting around to installing the turbo I picked up from Darrin on my truck. It is a Banks non-wastegated kit from a 5spd truck. Of course I have an automatic and forgot about the relocated dipstick tube.

I would like to get it installed this weekend as we going camping next week. I have called Banks, but it looks like I won't be able to get the dipstick / tube in time as they have not returned my call yet.

Anyone have any ideas? Is there a universal dipstick / tube available for the E4OD? Would it be possible to install the turbo with the current tube and replace the tube when the new one arrives? I'm open to sugestions.

How about a flexible dipstick? They have them for the C6, maybe for the E40DOA too?

Pick up a dipstick off a factory turbo unit. Or Bend the tube you have around to a place where you can reach it. Which is probably the way I would go (did go)....
