Nope, no problems there.
May not need to rebuild the turbo. Best to check play right after shutdown, so it stills has am oil cushion.

Cool! Looks like it's going to get some mods done then.

I'll run the engine, and then check the turbo for play. The other thing I noticed is that spinning the turbo by hand, it is pretty stiff compared to other turbos I've had, I would spin it a few rotations, and then the turbo shaft gets tighter to turn, like with a little oil on my hand, it won't turn.

Well, I'm glad I did the glow plugs! They were all pretty loose, and they were autolites, so I got the motorcrafts installed, did the fuel filter (filled it with diesel kleen) and I am going to build a better intake system and figure out a solution for the cdr. Tomorrow I'll finish painting it and do the oil change! Then it's onto the steering column slop and a better boost gauge install, and then I fix up the interior.

I'll be busy at least!

Thanks for all the help, gotta look at that turbo a little closer as well.
