I picked up a new master cyl for the clutch and it's different than the one I pulled off. My old one is straight up and down and the new one has the reservoir leaning off at an angle. Is there any problem with using this one on here? It looks like it would be easier to install . At least you can get a socket on both nuts on this setup.

bad news....
it's the wrong one.
87-91 used the offset bolt pattern
92-97 used the straight bolt pattern one.

Dang it. This part number is the same one Advance lists for 92-97, they do list a different one for the earlier , I'll bet they got it backwards.

Hmmm. There are holes in my firewall that allow me put either one in there. Of course, the intelligent me ran wires through some of them, so without a lot of redoing, I'm limited to the angled ones. The MC I have has had no problems sitting at a 20 degree angle, though. I'll report back if it ever does:dunno
