Air filter question

Any of you boys with the 7.3 IDI factory turbo have a K&N air filter in your truck? Im talkin about running the factory box and everything, just buying the new filter and putting it in, anybody have this?? Does it help, do anything, or just a waste of money??

If it is the part # for your set up Yes you can. I dont have a factory turbo but I do have a turbo with a K&N filter on it. Only thing I do is clean the filter every oil change and put it back when dry.

I have the ATS mods, down pipe, exhaust, pump turned up etc. On one of the 94 350,s I have the stock filter and intake (soon to be modded) on the other is the K filter with the intake modified (to get more air - the stock set up is a joke) U can tell the difference. But every time you change the oil check and re charge the filter. Also make sure that it is really sealing in the filter box.
