adding ac and an intercooler to a 89 d350

I have added a used banks intercooler from a 91 d350. It barely fit behind the stock grill. My truck did not come with ac and I am now going to try to add a stock system from a 91 as well. There is no room left behind the grill. Do the new grills have more room between the radiator and the grill for an intercooler and the condenser?

iirc it's a really tight fit.
the IC grille is a modded unit. I have a non-IC truck and a IC truck I will try to take some pics in a little bit and post them.

Banks used to sell a chromed grill for their IC units to fit the on a/c trucks, it worked perfect but very crappy material You are better off making Yourself one.
