Finishing off the work for a heavy towing roadtrip, I installed a 56 Ford F-100 V-8 badge. Maybe I shoulda repainted the hood, but it's only a truck. I did do a test haul with about 5 tons behind it, the fuel system rebuild eliminating all air leaks definately improved power.

Nice... No need to paint the hood. Its a truck for sure. I had a 56 F100 pickup truck when I was 16... Loved that truck too. Got some in it too... Good place for the spot lite too...

As I always say, there's a good reason why on most older domestic trucks even their short bed was still 6ft long... lol
