Just yesterday i went and got the vacum pulled and charged, and for some reason the compressor is not coming on.You can bypass it by directly adding 12v to it, but otherwise it will not come on.When bypassed its blows good cold air, other wise all engine heat.Any advice, any related problems? Thanks

On my truck, the main power wire that feeds the relay on the DS inner fender had rubbed through and burnt off, killing the A/C. Also in my digging I found that the pressure switch is a failure prone piece in these systems, but, you need to evacuate the system to change it.

On my 93 there is a grey/orange stripe GROUND wire that goes into and out of the DS on inter fender. It should be ground in and ground out when a/c is turned on. When I added a jumper wire the a/c worked. Hope this helps
