Anybody know where I can get a triple-guage overhead pod mount for a 92-97 F-Series truck? I heard they were out there...somewhere.

I've looked and looked but think they don't exist for our year trucks. I decided on a triple dash gauge pod that is mounted above the radio on the dash HERE. What I like best about it is that I can monitor the gauges while driving without taking my eyes off of the road. Down side is the hole that I drilled in the dash for the wires.

hheynow, how did mount the pod to the dash? Screws, glue? And How did you route the wires? Was it a pain or pretty easy?

Thanks

Are you lookin for an overhead? or a Pillar Pod?

Looks like the Dash pod mounts with screws, I have the same one but it has a different base for the 87-91 bodystyle.

Remove radio
Drill one centered 1/2" hole for all the wires
Gauge cup mounts to dash with two thin screws (not included)
Drill two thin holes :D
With radio out it's easy to tighten the nuts and to feed the wires
Some wires (senders) are obviously fed through hole in firewall
Actually it was very easy
The hard part was getting the nerve to drill the dash. LOL

Darrin,
Either, just want something functional....but I am leaning towards the dash mounted options right now since I desire to maintain as much visibility as possible.

hheynow,
Where is the hole in the firewall? I couldnt find a good one when I did my TC lockup switch and just routed it by the drivers fender.....not the best but it works.....

Those with auto tranny's drill through the black diamond shaped clutch plate cover up piece.
There is no pre-existing hole.
