92-97 front end ?

Is there any difference between the gasser radiator support and the diesel radiator support on the 92-97? Anything else that might be different?

YES! the diesel radiator support has a deeper "U" shape on the bottom to allow for the bigger diesel radiator. AFAIK there are no major differences other than the depth of the support.

Would it be possible to weld the 91 "U" onto the 92 gasser radiator support?

It is possible! Me and BigRigTech were pondering doing this exact same thing. We measured it roughly and it looks like it will work.

Not 100%, but I think the lower "U" may even be rivited in, so it might be even easier than cutting and welding.
