Well i got to get rid of it. Im in need of some money and this is the one thing i can get rid of.

It is an 86 converted to 4x4 with a 77 front axle. Rear is a 10 1/4 both axles have 4:10 gears. It could use new tie rod ends but I DRIVE IT EVERYDAY THE WAY IT IS!

C-6 Auto trans with two coolers

New radiator

Newer injection pump, and injectors.

Tires are 33x12.50 but one is worn on the front passenger side.

It has boost gauge trans temp gauge and pyrometer, which is in need of a new probe.

The motor is an 83 good strong running uses very little oil, less than 1-2 qt at oil change.

Has its dents and dings but is a decent looking truck for its age.

It has a few problems: Power steering leaks i have to add a quart a week.

I have the blower fan rigged up to run with a switch because it quit on me.

Front drive-shaft could use to be replaced.(vibrates going down the road)

Now it does have a crude WVO set-up that i ran this winter and all summer so far that works great, the rear tank i fill with wvo it is then heated with a heat exchanger pumped to the filter housing with an electric pump and superheated with a glow plug heater in the housing then injected. This set up has worked great for me for a year so far! The front tank carries your diesel that you can shut down on and start up on.

I have towed with this truck for 7 years it has only stranded me once and that was when i overheated it and cracked the head driving home.:puke:

Like i said in the title it has a 2yr old hypermax turbo that ran me 1800 when i bought it new. I love this truck but the time has come to let it go, if you have any questions i will answer them on here or you can e-mail me Maiermatt @hotmail.com.

Sorry to hear that you have to sell of your truck. If I lived anywhere remotly close to you and had the money, I would buy it in a heartbeat. To bad I dont have the money + the couple thousand mile trip would cost lots of $.

Dude, get another job. It's better that way. :D

Seriously though Matt, I'm sorry to see it come to this. At least you made it to one rally in an IDI. ;Sweet

Old post revived. I do not drive it much anymore, it needs tires and the fuel tank valve is broke so it is set up to run on the front tank only. (diesel) The tires that are on it now are 36x12.50 military, Bias ply. (rough riding) It also has a new electric fuel pump. Still starts right up in 0* weather!!!

totally offtopic.
what color of green is that? I'm a greenfan, and am envious of the greenshade the new chevy's have.

I'm looking to do some painting in the future.
